🔹Block Play!

Exploring and observing shapes, dimensions, colours with blocks has been a great fun learning play experience for toddlers and preschoolers so far.

🔺Sensory Motor Integration~ As they stack, fill the containers with these blocks and dump.

🔸They were engaged in counting, sorting, matching and even created patterns and designs

🔻They also exhibited how to manipulate, built tall structures by balancing and adding blocks by trial and error.

🔲Spatial Exploration~ building with different shapes and sizes of blocks enhances their spatial reasoning, logic, critical thinking and problem solving.

🟤 Classification~ counting blocks in groups such as 3 red, 2 blue and so on.

🟢Eye-hand coordination~ Young toddlers and infants loves to hold things using palmer and pincer grasp, and then attempts to stack and balance with care and precision, or filling up the containers with blocks.

🟡 I spy~ red, blue and so on while looking through the blocks.

🟠 Empathy~ building homes for our animal friends using different types of blocks such as soft large blocks, reflective blocks, Lego pieces and glacier blocks.

🔴Language and literary ~ learning the names of the colours, shapes and sizes in different languages.
