One weekend, we were on our nature walk, Taylor Creek Park, Toronto, and we spotted an invasive caterpillar on the bench. As we came closer we saw, the caterpillar was wiggling like a wave motion in back to front direction. As I took out my phone to capture the moment, I noticed it was fast approaching towards me. I could see the rectangular eyes and bright orange diamond shapes on its body. It will transformed into a Gypsy Moth!

Here are some facts about Caterpillar.

The first meal of a caterpillar is usually their own eggshell.

Their blood pressure changes with the movement.

They usually like to live in Oak trees, they will also eat leaves from maple, apple, crabapple, hickory, basswood, aspen, willow, birch, pine, spruce, hemlock, and more.
